The weather wreaked havoc last Saturday, resulting in no golf at the Lakes Entrance Golf Club, but players still teed up on events on three other days.
Justin Gray was on song during Ruthless and Toothless last Tuesday, carding the best score of the stick (38) and winning “A” grade from Gary Watson by four shots.
Wishy Lunan took “B” grade from Don Haley by a solitary shot.
The Wednesday medley 4BBB stableford attracted 30 players with Betty Martino and Patty Smith winners on countback from Sandy East and Emily Derham after both combinations had 42 points.
Renee Percival struck the ball accurately off the tee again winning three nearest the pins.
Thursday’s medley stableford saw 63 players grace the fairway with the overall and “A” grade victor Shane Sproule with 40 points.
Laurie Thomson snagged “B”grade with 40 points and Adrian Parry was successful in “C” grade with 33 points.
