The Lakes Entrance Cricket Club has been busy in the off season landing two English imports, who they hope may bowl them to premiership glory.
Ollie Chaplin is a talented 22-year-old spin bowling all-rounder from Kent, England.
He’s a right-arm off-spinner who bowls with great control and plays for the Holmesdale Cricket Club in the Premier Division of the Kent Cricket League.
Scott Tite is an opening fast-medium bowler currently spearheading the attack for Sleaford Cricket Club and representing Lincolnshire County Cricket Club at minor county level across all formats.
With over seven seasons of experience in the ECB Premier League, Tite has firmly established himself as a consistent and impactful performer with the ball.
The Seagulls are pretty excited about these two signings, delighted to pick up a couple of good cricketers and more good fellas to join the Seagulls for 2025/26.
Training kicks off this Sunday at the Lakeside Oval from 10am. All new and returning players welcome.
