A decade of workshops and experimentation from watercolour to resin, has culminated in Laima Gascoigne’s distinct acrylic style.
Inspired by the rugged landscapes of the Australian outback she creates textured and contemporary paintings that capture the spirit of the land.
Laima’s work also embraces a touch of whimsy, exploring the quirky and unexpected, revealing a diverse artistic vision that is both captivating and unique.
She now calls Bairnsdale home and is an active member of the Bairnsdale and District Art Society and has exhibited in local exhibitions.
Her exhibition is on display for the month of August at Bruthen Village Maker, 61 Main Street, Bruthen, opening hours Thursday to Sunday 10-4pm.
