Well-known children’s author George Ivanoff kept audiences captivated during his recent visit to East Gippsland.
George is the author of more than 100 books, including the very popular interactive series called You Choose.
George presented dynamic and entertaining talks and workshops at Schoolworks Supplies, Bruthen Primary School, Bairnsdale Secondary College and Bairnsdale West Primary School.
Participants learnt how to plot out an interactive story, how to generate story ideas and how to create memorable characters.
They also got a sneak peak of George’s brand-new book Prehistoric Peril, a mega You Choose, which is illustrated by local illustrator James Hart.
On Thursday evening, local children’s literature enthusiasts dined with George and James at The Old Grain Store.
This was a fantastic evening full of book chatter, and the opportunity for some informal book signings.
George’s Book Tour of
