This week the Meerlieu Rural Fire Brigade and Stratford Fire Brigade joined forces for their weekly Tuesday night training.
They took part in a realistic structure fire scenario at the Knob Reserve, near Stratford.
The crews worked together, Meerlieu initially supporting Stratford by filling their tanker and then refilling theirs at a hydrant point.
Crew later switched roles, responding as the first appliance on scene while Stratford provided water support.
It was a great hands-on session, with members from both brigades walking away with new knowledge and practical experience.
