THUMBS DOWN: To the nightly hoon menacing the Bairnsdale CBD. Would love to see the police catch him. How about parking in an unmarked police vehicle on Nicholson Street, cracking the window and nabbing the hoon as he burns out over hours on end.
THUMBS DOWN: What a dumb move by the council, to relocate the information centre from its existing location to the southern side of Main Street. Visitors / tourists coming into Bairnsdale drive in on the north side of Main Street and leave town on the south side. It’s not rocket science, leave the centre where it is.
THUMBS UP: To all those who organised events throughout the East Gippsland Winter Festival a wonderful showcase of everything our area has to offer during what is usually a much quieter time of year.
THUMBS DOWN: To drivers who use the right overtaking lane for a leisurely drive causing confusion for drivers behind them. Just stay in the left lane before you cause an accident.
