There has been plenty of excitement over the past week with the announcing of the Lakes Entrance Amateur Basketball Association (LEABA) representative coaches for the 2025/26 season.

LEABA is delighted to have many great candidates put their hands up to coach or assist in the development and mentoring the next generation of local basketball athletes.

Head coaching appointments include: Mikaela Witherow (under 10 girls), Josh Piper (under 10 boys), Marissa McKean (under 12 girls), Andy Murray (under 12 boys), Andrew Wright (under 14 girls), Grant Balintong (under 14 boys), Linda Lyon (under 16 girls), Damien Abbey (under 16 boys), Tracey Sloan (under 18 girls), Jason Whelan and Balintong (under 18 boys).

Assistant coach appointments include Danielle Piper (under 14 girls) and Rachael Morrison (under 12 girls). The LEABA committee, rep coaching director and squad coordinator are all working hard together to complete the final pieces of the 2025/26 coaching ensemble soon.

Registration link for players interested in season 2025/26 is still open, but closing soon.
