Lakes Entrance Amateur Basketball Association (LEABA) recently held its annual general meeting with Tracey Sloan re-elected as president.
Sloan is joined in the executive by Jamie O’Donnell (vice president), Tracey Le Maitre (treasurer) and Michelle Whelan (secretary).
General committee members for 2025/2026 are Gabi Wright, Sarah Lawrence, Grant Balintong, Andrew Wright, Danielle Milito and Linda Lyon.
The incoming committee looks forward to growing a future in basketball for the community.
The LEABA committee is currently seeking expressions of interest for the following coordinator positions, junior, men’s, women’s, referee, squad,
Country Basketball League, domestic uniform and registrations.
Coordinators ensure that the LEABA competitions run, however overall decisions will be made by the committee.
LEABA are now calling for team nominations for season two of the senior competitions for 2025.
The season starts next week, July 28.
