Shore Break, a poetic solo play about memory, masculinity and the stories we carry, comes to Lake Tyers Beach Hall and Mallacoota on July 31 and August 1
Waiting for the perfect wave to break; a man sits with his surfboard, his eyes trained to the horizon, looking for the first signs of a new swell.
He is flooded with memories. All the people he has left behind.
Hilarious and gut-wrenching, Shore Break is a play about reconciling the damage of a life half lived. A symmetry of poetic storytelling and inhabited performance from one of South Australia’s leading actors, Chris Pitman, Shore Break speaks to male vulnerability and has you riding an emotional wave you don’t see coming.
The show at Lake Tyers Beach Hall kicks off at 7.30pm.
