The Traralgon Harriers’ Clinton Jolly led the field home in last Saturday morning’s Lakes Entrance parkrun.
Jolly ran a more than respectable time of 20 minutes and 17 seconds, as 37 participants enjoyed the brisk morning air.
Mia Calleja (21.23) was the first female across the line with five first timers among 37 enthusiasts who hit the five kilometre esplanade course.
The weekly event attracts like-minded people and affords the opportunity to walk, jog and run for fun, fitness or both.
The event saw representatives from Southern
Peninsula Sporting Club, Lakes and District Runners and Australia Post Group hit the pavement.
Best times were recorded by Bec Voss (27.44), Jenny Wagstaff (34.49), Dallas Riseley (34.51) and Hunee Cho (36.18).
The run departs from the rotunda each Saturday morning at 8am, with a briefing is at 7.50am.
The first Lakes Entrance parkrun was conducted on February 3, 2018.
