Last Thursday East Gippsland Crime Investigation Unit Detectives executed a search warrant in Lakes Entrance.
A homemade firearm, taser and a trafficable quantity of drugs were located.
Two people were arrested during the search warrant:
– A 32-year-old woman was charged with drug related offences and bailed to appear at the Bairnsdale Magistrates’ Court on July 23.
– A 40-year-old male was charged with burglary, drug, firearms and weapons related offences. He was remanded in custody and appeared at the Bairnsdale Magistrates’ Court last Friday.
