Nowa Nowa has been buzzing with energy this summer, with a vibrant lineup of live music, cultural events and community gatherings that have brought locals and visitors together to celebrate creativity and connection.

From enchanting melodies to lively pub nights, events have taken place across Nowa Nowa.

The season featured an incredible array of performances, including the ethereal sounds of Scottish Celtic harpist Chloe Matharu, the soulful stylings of Andrea Kirwin and Claire Evelyn, and the magnetic duo of Tom Harrington and Jack Raymond.

The town also welcomed a trio of talented French artists for the Solar Session, a unique musical experience that captivated audiences.

Families and young ones enjoyed the engaging FRITZ kids’ show, organised by East Gippsland Shire Council, adding a dynamic and interactive element to the summer festivities.

Meanwhile, the Nowa Nowa Pop-up Pub provided an opportunity for the community to come together over delicious food, refreshing drinks and live music in a relaxed atmosphere.

This summer also marked the launch of Nowa Nowa Live, a new identity and social media platform dedicated to showcasing the town’s rich cultural offerings.

Audiences can now stay up to date with upcoming events, artist features and community happenings by following Nowa Nowa Live online.

Looking ahead, Nowa Nowa is excited to welcome acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Kim Churchill this Friday, February 7, as part of The Lovely Tour 2025.

This highly-anticipated performance will take place at the Nowa Nowa Recreation Reserve, offering a spectacular live music experience in a stunning outdoor setting.

For tickets and more information, visit Kim Churchill’s event page.

Each event has reinforced Nowa Nowa’s reputation as a hub for intimate, high-quality entertainment, all while staying true to its commitment to natural aesthetics and community spirit.

Whether at the hall or the recreation reserve, audiences continue to enjoy unforgettable performances in welcoming settings that highlight the town’s vibrant cultural scene.

As Nowa Nowa looks ahead to more events in the

coming months, it extends gratitude to all the artists, attendees and volunteers who have made this summer so special.

Stay tuned for more exciting gatherings and performances that celebrate music, art, and local culture in the heart of East Gippsland.
