Opportunities still exist to take part in Lakes Entrance Netball Association workshops at
the Lakes Entrance Recreation Reserve this Sunday.
An introduction to coaching workshop will be conducted between 10am-noon, with the association in preparation for another exciting season, keen to get parents and community members to take on the rewarding role of a coach.
Involvement is essential to ensure local competitions are successful and the players have the opportunity to thrive, with the introduction to coaching workshop, an ideal introduction at ground level for any interested party.
From 1-4pm, an introduction to umpiring workshop will be conducted by revered Gippsland netball identity Judy Buhagiar.
The umpires role is vital in ensuring competitions run smoothly, fairly and successfully, with Buhagiar keen to set any newcomers on the right path to a successful umpiring career.
Plenty of spots are available at both seminars and more information can be obtained by contacting the Lakes Entrance Netball Association.
