Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance wants everyone to remember there are informative programs coming up at the club on Saturday, January 11.
SNAAP (Special Needs Aquatic Awareness Program) is a free beach awareness program aimed at people with special needs to engage in activities around the water, including education of water/beach safety and awareness. Everyone will be welcome no matter what ability or experience. The program is tailored to individual needs and requirements.
This course will take place from 10am to 12pm. It will be followed at 2pm to 4pm by a Community Beach Awareness Day.
This is a free program for families to gain knowledge on beach safety, how to spot dangers and help selves and others out of dangerous situations. Both courses will be held on the Main Beach.
SLSLE is looking forward to everyone heading over to these programs. Enquiries can be made to club.captain@lakesentrancesurflifesaving.org.au.
